UCF's Biolay Gives Knights Consecutive Women's Tennis Players of the Week

IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of its weekly men’s and women’s tennis honors for the week-ending March 7.
 
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Sophia Biolay • Fr. • UCF • Reims, France
Biolay went 2-0 in singles play and 2-1 in doubles to lead UCF to two wins in three matches last week. She scored a 6-1, 6-2 singles victory in the Knights’ 4-0 win against Eastern Michigan and came through with a three-set victory (1-6, 6-4, 6-4) to clinch a 4-2 win against No. 17 Michigan. Biolay joined Nandini Sharma for doubles wins against Eastern Michigan and Michigan as well before the tandem’s four-match winning streak was snapped against No. 5 Texas.
