IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winner of the league’s weekly golf honors, for the competition week ending Tuesday, April 12.
 
Men’s Golf Player of the Week
Brock Polhill * Jr. * Wichita State
Polhill was sensational for Wichita State in a team runner-up showing at the Missouri Tiger Invitational on April 11-12 at The Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia, Missouri. Polhill fired rounds of 67-68-69 to finish one stroke off the medalist pace and claim second place outright at 12-under-par 204. Polhill was one of just two golfers in the 90-player field to shoot three straight sub-70 rounds on the par-72, 7,221-yard layout that yielded a 74.18 scoring average for the week. Polhill’s 19 birdies and 4.33 (-8) stroke average on par-5s both ranked second in the tournament field.
