IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the women’s basketball league schedule pairings for the 2022-23 season.
Every team in The American will play six of its 10 conference opponents twice and the other four opponents once – two at home and two on the road.
Six programs earned postseason bids in 2021-22. UCF and South Florida were selected for the NCAA Championship, with the Knights advancing to the second round. Four squads from The American played in the NIT, including Houston, SMU, Tulane and Tulsa.
The complete 2022-23 women’s basketball composite schedule with dates and times will be announced at a later date. The first conference play dates will be December 30-January 2, 2023. The 2023 American Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Championship will be held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, March 6-9.
