TULSA, Okla. -- Davis Brin passed for 322 yards and four touchdowns as Tulsa emerged from a fourth quarter that saw four lead changes with a wild 38-35 win against Northern Illinois Saturday at H.A. Chapman Stadium.

The Golden Hurricane, which held a 24-7 halftime lead, had to battle from behind to pick up its first win of the season after the Huskies took a pair of fourth-quarter leads. But Brin hit Keylon Stokes for a 1-yard touchdown with 10:36 left to give Tulsa a 31-28 advantage, and the duo connected for a 31-yard strike to the NIU 1-yard line to set up Steven Anderson's short touchdown to put the Hurricane ahead for good.

Stokes finished with eight receptions for 135 yards and a touchdown for Tulsa, which has six come-from-behind wins since the start of the 2021 season. JuanCarlos Santana had four catches for 87 yards and two TDs.

Anderson led Tulsa's ground game with 58 yards on 18 carries, including the eventual go-ahead score with 58 seconds left.

Northern Illinois, the 2021 Mid-American Conference champion, advanced close to midfield on its final possession, but Tulsa's Tyon Davis came up with the clinching interception with 32 seconds left.
