TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Tyler Harris scored 21 points as South Florida beat East Carolina 71-63 on Wednesday night.

Harris shot 6 for 13 (5 for 10 from 3-point range) and 4 of 5 from the free throw line for the Bulls (10-13, 3-7 American Athletic Conference). Jamir Chaplin scored 17 points while shooting 7 for 10, including 3 for 4 from beyond the arc. Russel Tchewa shot 4 of 8 from the field to finish with 10 points, while adding 11 rebounds.

RJ Felton led the Pirates (11-12, 2-8) in scoring, finishing with 18 points. Ezra Ausar added 15 points, eight rebounds and two steals for East Carolina. Brandon Johnson also put up 10 points and four steals.

Harris is now two 3-pointers shy of The American's all-time record of 265, held by Christian Vital of UConn (2016-20). Harris currently has 263.

CINCINNATI (AP) — Jeremiah Davenport scored 20 points off the bench to help lead Cincinnati over Tulsa 81-55 on Wednesday night.

Davenport shot 6 for 11 (4 for 8 from 3-point range) and 4 of 5 from the free throw line for the Bearcats (15-8, 6-4 American Athletic Conference). Landers Nolley II scored 13 points and added 13 rebounds. David Dejulius shot 4 for 9, including 1 for 4 from beyond the arc to finish with 11 points, while adding nine assists.

The Golden Hurricane (5-16, 1-9) were led in scoring by Sam Griffin, who finished with 15 points. Tulsa also got 12 points from Anthony Pritchard. In addition, Bryant Selebangue finished with eight points and 15 rebounds.

Tulane 74, SMU 52 - Box Score
NEW ORLEANS -- Jalen Cook scored 22 points as Tulane defeated SMU, 74-52, Wednesday night at Fogelman Arena in Devlin Fieldhouse.

Cook led four players in double figures for the Green Wave, who improved to 14-7 (7-3 American). Sion James recorded 13 points, while Jaylen Forbes and Kevin Cross added 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Tulane shot 44 percent from the field (23-52), while holding the Mustangs to 35 percent (18-52).

Zach Nutall led SMU (8-15, 3-7) with 23 points.
