IRVING, Texas – Single-session ticket packages to the 2023 American Athletic Conference Basketball Championships go on sale to the general public via Ticketmaster on Thursday, February 16 at 11 a.m. Eastern/10 a.m. Central.
 
The American’s Women’s Basketball Championship will be contested March 6-9 and the Men’s Basketball Championship will run March 9-12 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. Tickets to the Women’s Championship and the second session of the Men’s Championship will be general admission. The second session of the Men’s Championship also includes the championship final of the Women’s Championship.

Dickies Arena is located adjacent to the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus in the city’s Cultural District, just 10 minutes from downtown Fort Worth. Six of The American’s 11 members are located within driving distance of Fort Worth, while the other five members have direct flight options to the metropolitan area.
 
In addition to hosting the American Athletic Conference Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships, Dickies Arena was a host to the 2022 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship First and Second Rounds and will host a 2026 NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship Regional. The arena also hosted the 2021 and 2022 NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championship and will host the national meet through 2026 as well.
 
Dickies Arena is a 14,000-seat, spectacular multipurpose venue that was built in 2019 and was nominated for Arena of the Year in 2022 by the Academy of Country Music Awards and 2022 and 2023 by Pollstar Magazine.  Also, the Arena just made the coveted Billboard’s Year-End Boxscore Top 10 Worldwide chart for entertainment that played between November 1, 2021 through October 31, 2022, with an incredible 4th ranking for venues with a seating capacity of 10,001-15,000.  The state-of-the-art arena hosts concerts, sporting events and family entertainment, and is home to Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo performances and Panther City Lacrosse Club of the National Lacrosse League.
