ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Landers Nolley II scored 18 points to lead Cincinnati and David Dejulius hit the game-winning shot with one second remaining as the Bearcats knocked off UCF 73-71 on Sunday.

Nolley was 8 of 13 shooting for the Bearcats (18-10, 9-6 American Athletic Conference). Dejulius had 16 points, five rebounds and eight assists. His running one-hander in the lane with less than one second left gave Cincinnati the victory. Ody Oguama finished 7 of 7 from the floor, scoring 15 points.

The Knights (15-11, 6-8) were led by Michael Durr, who posted 15 points. Taylor Hendricks added 12 points for UCF. Ithiel Horton had 12 points and two steals.

Cincinnati went into the half leading UCF 33-30. Nolley scored nine points in the half. Kalu Ezikpe scored 10 second-half points for Cincinnati.

Temple 76, Tulsa 53 - Box Score
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Damian Dunn had 24 points in Temple’s 76-53 win against Tulsa on Sunday.

Dunn was 9 of 13 shooting (4 for 5 from distance) for the Owls (15-13, 9-6 American Athletic Conference). Nick Jourdain scored 11 points and added six rebounds. Hysier Miller also scored 11 points.

Sam Griffin led the Golden Hurricane (5-21, 1-14) in scoring, finishing with 16 points. Tim Dalger added 15 points and seven rebounds for Tulsa. The Golden Hurricane extended their losing streak to eight in a row.

Temple took the lead with 10:20 remaining in the first half and did not give it up. Dunn led his team in scoring with nine points in the first half to help put them up 37-30 at the break. Fueled by a 21-2 scoring run, Temple extended its lead to 74-48 during the second half. Dunn scored a team-high 15 points in the second half.

HOUSTON (AP) — J’Wan Roberts had a career-high 20 points and 12 rebounds, and Marcus Sasser also scored 20 points as No. 2 Houston held off Memphis 72-64 on Sunday.

Jamal Shead added 10 points for Houston (25-2, 13-1 American Athletic Conference). The Cougars shot 45% but struggled from deep, going 3 of 17 on 3-pointers.

The Cougars forced 18 turnovers, which they converted into 22 points. Houston has won seven straight games.

Elijah McCadden had 20 points and six rebounds, DeAndre Williams added 18 points and Damaria Franklin scored 10 for Memphis (20-7, 10-4). The Tigers shot 44%, including 6 of 15 on 3-pointers.

Memphis was without leading scorer Kendric Davis, who averages over 21 points. Davis went through warmups but was out of the lineup with an injury.

After trailing 32-21 at the half, Memphis opened the second half by shooting 5 for 7 and cutting the lead to 38-34 on a 3-pointer by Franklin with 16 minutes remaining, which capped a 6-0 run.

Houston responded with a 9-2 spurt to regain an 11-point lead at 47-36 on a layup by Roberts with 12 minutes remaining.

The Tigers closed within 63-58 with 2:24 remaining on a layup by Williams, but that was as close as Memphis would get as Houston made nine of its last 10 free throws to put away the game.

Houston used a 17-3 run over a five-minute stretch of the first half to open up a 30-16 lead on Sasser’s jumper with 3:47 left in the half. Sasser scored seven points in the run.

SMU 86, East Carolina 70 - Box Score
DALLAS (AP) — Samuell Williamson’s 20 points helped SMU defeat East Carolina 86-70 on Sunday.

Williamson also contributed nine rebounds and four steals for the Mustangs (10-18, 5-10 American Athletic Conference). Efe Odigie added 18 points while finishing 8 of 10 from the floor, and he also had nine rebounds. Zhuric Phelps was 5-of-15 shooting, including 3 for 4 from distance, and went 2 for 9 from the line to finish with 15 points, 10 assists five rebounds and three steals.

RJ Felton finished with 27 points and two blocks for the Pirates (13-13, 4-9). Jaden Walker added 18 points, 10 assists and four steals for East Carolina. In addition, Ezra Ausar finished with 11 points, two steals and two blocks.

SMU took the lead with 13:58 remaining in the first half and did not relinquish it. The score was 35-28 at halftime, with Williamson racking up 10 points. SMU outscored East Carolina in the second half by nine points, with Phelps scoring a team-high 10 points in the final half.
