UCF's Adams, East Carolina's Bullis Bring Home Weekly Softball Honors

IRVING, Texas The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly softball awards for the week ending Sunday, February 26.
 
Player of the Week
Savannah Adams, So., UTL, UCF
Adams slashed .583/.583/1.417 in five games for the Knights. She had at least one hit in every game she had an at-bat, including multiple hits against Gardner-Webb and Purdue. She crushed three home runs on the week, sending the ball over the wall against Stetson, Louisville and Purdue. Adams knocked in a league-best six RBI this week.
 
Pitcher of the Week
Addy Bullis, Jr., LHP, East Carolina
Bullis continued her impressive start to the season, recording a 3-0 record in three appearances for the Pirates. She tossed 16.1 innings and allowed just one earned run for an ERA of 0.43. She struck out 13 batters in wins over Bucknell, Saint Francis and Radford.
 
Weekly Honor Roll
 
Taylor Edwards, Jr., RHP, Houston
Edwards recorded an ERA of .054 in two wins against Houston Christian and Sam Houston. She struck out 11 batters in 13 innings pitched.
 
Turiya Coleman, So., UTL, Houston
Coleman hit .625 on the week, scoring six runs and driving in three more. She recorded a hit in every game and went 3-for-3 on stolen bases.
 
Hallie Bryant, R-So., OF, South Florida
Bryant batted .429 on the week, including an inside-the-park home run against UIC on Saturday. It is the first inside-the-park home run for the Bulls since 2020.
 
Haley Morgan, Sr., OF, Tulsa
Morgan hit .471 in five games for the Golden Hurricane. She scored six runs and drove in another two.
 
Sydney McKinney, Sr., SS, Wichita State
McKinney extended her hitting streak to 33 games, the sixth longest in NCAA history. She recorded multiple hits in three of the four games.
