CINCINNATI (AP) — Viktor Lakhin scored 20 points as Cincinnati beat UCF 73-64 on Saturday.
Lakhin also contributed eight rebounds and four steals for the Bearcats (16-8, 7-4 American Athletic Conference). David Dejulius added 19 points while going 7 of 10 from the floor, including 4 for 6 from distance, and 1 for 3 from the line, and he also had seven assists. Landers Nolley II recorded 17 points and shot 7 for 16 (2 for 5 from 3-point range) and 1 of 3 from the free throw line.
Taylor Hendricks led the Knights (13-9, 4-6) in scoring, finishing with 21 points and eight rebounds. CJ Kelly added 17 points and two steals for UCF. In addition, Darius Johnson finished with 12 points.
A 14-0 run in the first half gave Cincinnati a 12-point lead. The teams entered the break with Cincinnati ahead 31-20, while Nolley led his club in scoring with 10 points. Lakhin scored 18 points down the stretch in the second half to help lead Cincinnati to a nine-point victory.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Jalen Cook led Tulane with 25 points and Tylan Pope scored the game-winning layup with 16 seconds remaining in overtime as the Green Wave defeated Memphis 90-89 on Saturday.
Cook added four steals for the Green Wave (15-7, 8-3 American Athletic Conference). Kevin Cross scored 22 points while finishing 9 of 12 from the floor Jaylen Forbes scored 18 points.
The Tigers (17-6, 7-3) were led by Kendric Davis, who recorded 26 points, seven assists and four steals. Memphis also got 19 points, 17 rebounds, five assists and two steals from DeAndre Williams. In addition, Keonte Kennedy had 16 points.
The loss ended a five-game winning streak for the Tigers.
East Carolina 77, SMU 72 -

GREENVILLE, N.C. (AP) — Brandon Johnson scored 27 points as East Carolina beat SMU 77-72 on Saturday night.
Johnson had six rebounds for the Pirates (12-12, 3-8 American Athletic Conference). Ezra Ausar scored 19 points and added 13 rebounds. RJ Felton shot 6 for 13 (3 for 6 from 3-point range) and 3 of 4 from the free throw line to finish with 18 points.
The Mustangs (8-16, 3-8) were led by Zhuric Phelps, who posted 23 points and two steals. Zach Nutall added 18 points for SMU. Samuell Williamson had 10 points and seven rebounds.
Johnson scored 13 points in the first half for East Carolina, which led 40-32 at halftime. East Carolina used an 8-0 second-half run to erase a one-point deficit and take the lead at 60-53 with 8:29 left in the half. Johnson scored 14 second-half points.
