Memphis 3, Little Rock 2 - Box Score
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The University of Memphis baseball team defeated UA-Little Rock, 3-2, at Gary Hogan Field on Tuesday afternoon. Lefty Luke Ellis earned the win for the Tigers and improved to 1-1 on the year while Dalton Kendrick picked up his fourth save of the season.
 
With the win, Memphis improved to 9-8 on the season and snapped a six-game losing skid. The Trojans saw their five-game winning streak come to an end and fell to 9-5 on the season.
 
The Tigers got a solid start from freshman right-hander Caden Robinson, who was making his first collegiate start. Robinson went two scoreless innings, allowing one hit, one walk and striking out one.

Memphis took a 2-0 lead in the fourth inning when Tyler Heckert lined a two-out, bases loaded single to left field that scored Austin Baskin and Logan Kohler.

UCF 14, Florida State 3 - Box Score
ORLANDO - Complete with three home runs and four-RBI nights by both Andrew Sundean and Nick Romano, the UCF baseball team took down the No. 21 Florida State Seminoles 14-3 on Tuesday night at John Euliano Park.

 
The Knights scored first in Tuesday's contest. With two on and one out, designated hitter Sundean singled to left for the 1-0 lead. Later in the inning Drew Faurot added an RBI single making it 2-0 UCF. Romano was next up and hit his third home run of the year, a three-run shot to close out a five-run first for the Knights. 
 
With two away in the second, Sundean singled in a run, his second RBI of the night. Another run came around to score on a wild pitch, extending the Knights' lead to 7-0 going into the third.
 
After two quiet innings, UCF picked up the scoring again the fifth, doubling their lead with seven runs. After a double by Lex Boedicker, Romano brought him home with a double down the right field line, his fourth RBI of the night. With two outs, John Rhys Plumlee added another double, this time down the left field line, to plate Romano from second, bringing the score to 9-0.
 
Andrew Brait reached on an error to extend the inning for Tom Josten. On a 3-1 pitch, Josten capitalized on the Seminoles error in with his eighth home run of the year and the second three-run shot of the night for UCF. With Ben McCabe on second, Sundean hit the Knights' second home run of the inning, to give the Knights a 14-0 lead over the Seminoles.
  
Dom Stagliano's seven inning performance complete with seven strikeouts tied his career high in both categories. Stagliano threw six scoreless frames, allowing five hits, two runs and no walks.

Cincinnati 3, Winthrop 1 - Box Score
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Strong pitching powered the University of Cincinnati baseball team past Winthrop, 3-1, on Tuesday evening at Winthrop Ballpark in Rock Hill, S.C.
 
Redshirt junior starter Chase Hopewell and three relievers combined for a four-hitter in the victory. 
 
Hopewell went three shutout innings and allowed one single against 11 batters faced. 
 
Redshirt junior Alex Shea (2-0) surrendered just one unearned run and one hit while striking out four batters over 3.2 innings to pick up his second win of the season. 
 
Senior Mitch White pitched the final two innings and struck out a pair to earn his second save of the season. 

Wichita State 6, Oklahoma 2 - Box Score
WICHITA, Kan. -- Wichita State used three multi-run innings, a great start from Caden Favors, four hits from Chuck Ingram and 3.1 innings of hitless relief from Jace Miner to knock off Oklahoma 6-2 on Tuesday night at Eck Stadium.

The Shockers (9-7) got the scoring started right away, striking for a pair of runs in the bottom of the first after Favors stranded the bases loaded in the top half. Brock Rodden led off with a double, moved to third on a David Herring sacrifice bunt, and scored on a Payton Tolle RBI groundout. Wichita State added a second run in the inning on an Oklahoma passed ball, allowing Garrett Pennington to score for a 2-0 lead.

Favors (2-1) kept that lead intact by inducing crucial double plays in both the second and third innings. In the fourth, the Shockers doubled their advantage via a pair of two-out RBI singles, one from Ingram and another from Herring that stretched the lead to 4-0. Favors capped his evening by breezing through the Sooners (11-6) in the fifth, his first 1-2-3 inning of the night.

Dartmouth 6, South Florida 1 - Box Score
TAMPA (March 14, 2023) – The University of South Florida Bulls (5-12) opened a two-game series on Tuesday night with a 6-1 loss to Dartmouth College (1-7).

After being named the AAC Pitcher of the Week on Monday, southpaw Nolan Hudi made the start for South Florida on Tuesday. Hudi allowed just one run and struck out a career-high 10 batters against Pitt last Tuesday without issuing a walk. Hudi (1-2) suffered the loss against Dartmouth, allowing five runs on six hits with three walks and four strikeouts over 4.0 IP.

The Bulls' lone run of the ballgame came on a sacrifice fly by Drew Brutcher in the third inning after the Big Green had taken a 3-0 lead in the top of the frame.

UNCW 8, East Carolina 5 - Box Score
WILMINGTON, N.C. – No. 10 East Carolina was unable to capitalize on early offensive opportunities Tuesday night as UNCW downed ECU 8-5 in a non-conference affair at Brooks Field.
 
The Pirates (12-4) and Seahawks (10-7) recorded 10 hits apiece, but East Carolina ended up leaving 15 runners on base.
 
Luke Craig (1-0) ended up as the winning pitcher in relief, allowing just one earned run on five hits in 3.1 innings of work with a walk and four strikeouts. Ethan Chenault notched his second save of the campaign by recording the final four outs. Jake Hunter (0-1) was saddled with his first loss of the year after surrendering three runs on three hits in 3.0 innings. He finished his outing fanning five hitters against no walks.

Texas A&M 5, Houston 1 - Box Score
HOUSTON – Texas A&M pushed across three runs in the ninth inning, padding a once one-run advantage as the No. 15 Aggies outlasted University of Houston Baseball, 5-1 on Tuesday night at Schroeder Park.
 
Junior right-hander Josh Ekness (1-2) made his first start of the season for the Cougars (5-11), striking out four while allowing two earned runs across a season-high 6.2 innings. Down two runs heading into the fifth inning, senior right fielder Brandon Uhse's single grounded through infield and brought outfielder senior infielder Ian McMillan home for the Cougars' only run of the game. Holding a 2-1 lead late through eight innings, the Aggies (13-4) tacked on three runs in the ninth.

South Florida 4, Dartmouth 3 - Box Score
TAMPA (March 15, 2023) – The University of South Florida Bulls (6-12) bounced back from a disappointing 6-1 loss on Tuesday night to Dartmouth College (1-8) with a 4-3 victory over the Big Green in the midweek finale on Wednesday afternoon at USF Baseball Stadium.

John Montes went 3-for-5 and drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Jackson Cothren picked up his first win in a South Florida uniform and Riley Skeen tallied his second save of the season to back freshman Lawson Gailey in his first collegiate start on the mound.

UCF 6, Florida State 3 - Box Score
ORLANDO -- UCF defeated Florida State, 6-3, to earn a midweek sweep at John Euliano Field.

Jacob Marlowe pitched seven innings, allowing one earned run while striking out five to earn the win. 

The Knights used a 5-run fourth inning to break open the game, including RBI singles from Tom Josten, Andrew Sundean and Nick Romano.

East Carolina 6, William & Mary 5 - Box Score
GREENVILLE, N.C. – Backstopped by a career-long outing from senior RHP Garrett Saylor, No. 10 East Carolina continued its winning ways at home with a 6-5 victory over William & Mary Wednesday evening at Lewis Field inside Clark-LeClair Stadium.
 
The Pirates (13-4) scored all they needed in the middle innings to down a Tribe (9-9) squad that put up 34 runs on Norfolk State a day ago. ECU and William & Mary rapped out 12 hits apiece, but the Pirate pitching staff racked up 14 strikeouts against just three walks. The teams also combined to leave 21 runners on base.
 
Saylor (1-0) collected his first victory of the season on the mound, allowing four runs (three earned) on eight hits with no walks and a campaign-high seven strikeouts in 5.1 innings. Jaden Winter notched his first career save, limiting the visitors to just one hit while striking out a personal-best five hitters in the final two frames. Tom Mayer took the loss, yielding three runs on five hits with two walks and a lone strikeout in three innings of work.
 
Jacob Jenkins-Cowart enjoyed a solid day at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs scored and three RBI – including a two-run home run in the fifth. Ryan McCrystal, Josh Moylan and Lane Hoover also pounded out a pair of hits each while McCrystal added two RBI.

Winthrop 13, Cincinnati 3 - Box Score
ROCK HILL, S.C. – In the second meeting between the two teams, the University of Cincinnati baseball team fell to Winthrop, 13-3, on Wednesday night at Winthrop Ballpark. The Bearcats moved to 8-9 with the loss, while the Eagles improved to 9-9. 
 
Freshman outfielder Landyn Vidourek went 2-for-5 with his first career home run on a solo shot to right field in the first inning. 
 
Redshirt junior first baseman Ryan Nicholson finished 2-for-3 while redshirt junior catcher Alec Jones belted his second home run of the season.
 
Freshman starter Tommy Boba allowed three runs on six hits while striking out a career-high six batters over 5.2 innings. Redshirt junior Zach Segal (2-1) took the loss for the Bearcats.
