IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of its weekly men’s and women’s tennis honors for the week-ending March 20.
 
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Sierra Berry • So. • South Florida • Frisco, Texas
Berry went 2-0 in both singles and doubles to lead South Florida to a pair of victories against American Athletic Conference opponents last week. She took a third-set tiebreaker at No. 1 singles (6-4, 4-6, 10-6) and a 6-0 victory at No. 1 doubles in a 7-0 dual match win against Cincinnati. Berry closed the week with a straight-set win at No. 2 singles (6-3, 6-1), and a 7-6 (4) decision at No. 2 doubles in a 4-3 win against No. 62 Wichita State. The 2022 American Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year, Berry improved to 8-2 in singles in the spring season.
