Wichita State's Tolle, Cincinnati's Brosky Earn Weekly Honors

IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly baseball honors for the third week of the season.
 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Payton Tolle, So., INF/P, Wichita State
Tolle hit .643 (9-14) with four runs scored, a double, two home runs and nine runs driven in as the Shockers earned a series win over Oakland. In the second game of the series, he threw six innings with only an unearned run and 10 strikeouts.
 
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Dylan Brosky, Gr., Cincinnati
Brosky pitched a 7-inning complete-game shutout against North Alabama with two hits, one walk and seven strikeouts.
 
HONOR ROLL
Drew Faurot, Fr., INF, UCF
Faurot hit .429 (6-14) with four runs scored, two doubles, two grand slams and 10 RBI in four games for the Knights
 
Alec Jones, R-Jr., C, Cincinnati
Jones hit .571 (4-7) with two runs, a double, a home run and three runs driven in through three games for the Bearcats.
 
Josh Moylan, Jr., 1B, East Carolina
Moylan led the Pirates by hitting .385 (5-13) with six runs, a double, a triple, a home run and four RBI.
 
Josh Grosz, Jr., P, East Carolina
Grosz earned a win against Georgetown with five no-hit scoreless innings and 10 strikeouts.
 
Dalton Kendrick, Jr., P, Memphis
Kendrick earned a pair of saves in Tiger wins over Central Arkansas and Nicholls.
