Five American women's hoops teams came away with victories to end the week on Sunday, Decembe 15. UAB, Tulane and Tulsa all earned home victories, while East Carolina and Wichita State took home road wins. East Carolina picked up the league's first overtime win of the season, defeating Old Dominion in Norfolk. Amiya Joyner led the charge with 27 points and 17 rebounds, while also being clutch in over time, hitting the game-winning layup with six second remaining to clinch the win for the Pirates.
