IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of its weekly tennis honors for the week-ending February 10.
 
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Petro Kuzmenok • So. • Rice
Kuzmenok had the clinching points in both doubles and singles to lead Rice to a 4-3 win against LSU in the Owls’ only match from last week. He paired with Santiago Navarro for a 7-6 (5) win at No. 2 doubles to put Rice ahead 1-0 and scored a straight-set victory at No. 1 singles with a 6-1, 7-5 decision to deliver Rice’s fourth team point.  Kuzmenok battled back from deficits of 1-4 and 2-5 in the second set to take the victory.
