IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of its weekly tennis honors for the week-ending March 17.

 
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Giorgia Roselli • So. • Wichita State
Rosselli was a combined 5-0 across singles and doubles in Wichita State’s 3-0 week, including two wins against ITA-ranked opponents. She delivered the clinching point in a 4-1 win against Louisiana Tech with a 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles and she added a 6-1, 6-4 victory at No. 2 against No. 66 Princeton in the Shockers’ 4-1 win. She added three wins at No. 1 doubles as she prevailed 6-4 against Louisiana Tech, 6-1 against Princeton and 6-2 against No. 61 Tulane. Roselli has won five of her last seven singles results, five of her last six doubles finishes alongside partner Xin Tong Wang and is No. 66 in doubles in this week’s ITA rankings.
