IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly golf honors.
 
Men’s Golf Player of the Week
Shubham Jaglan, Sr. – South Florida
Jaglan finished in first place at the competitive Linger Longer Invitational, shooting a 12-under 204 (64-68-72). The tournament featured five Top 50 ranked teams, while Jaglan defeated eight Top 100 opponents en route to his first career individual title. He led the Bulls to a third-place team finish.
 
Women’s Golf Player of the Week
Francesca Pompa, Fr. - Tulane
Pompa won the individual championship in the Tulane Classic, helping the Green Wave finish in second place as a team.  She shot a one-under 215 (72-73-70) and defeated three top 100 ranked opponents.  She became the first Tulane freshman to win a tournament since Daniela Holmqvist won the C-USA Championship in 2009.
