South Florida’s Cham Named Men's Tennis Player Of The Week

IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of its weekly tennis honors for the week-ending March 31.
 
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Elijah Cham • Jr. • South Florida
Cham was a combined 3-0, including two singles wins and a clinching point in doubles as part of South Florida’s dual match wins against Charlotte (6-1) and Liberty (5-2). He won both singles matches in straight sets, including a 6-2, 7-6 (2) victory at No. 3 against Charlotte and a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 2 against Liberty. He added a 7-6 (6) doubles win against the 49ers at the No. 3 position to secure the first team point. Cham has won his last four singles matches, including three consecutive straight-set victories, to improve to 17-7 on the year.
