Charlotte's Chaisilprungruang, South Florida's Ryding Earn Golf Weekly Honors

IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly golf honors.
 
Men’s Golf Player of the Week
Wilhelm Ryding, So. – South Florida
In one of the toughest invitationals in the country, Ryding finished in 4th place at the Valspar Intercollegiate Invitational, shooting 11-under 202 (68-69-65). He placed higher than thirty of the Top 100 ranked golfers in American, including No. 3, 4, 5, 6, 9 and 12.
 
Women’s Golf Player of the Week
Pinky Chaisilprungruang, Fr. - Charlotte
Chaisilprungruang earns her second straight golfer of the week honor after reaching the podium with a third-place finish at the Coach Mo Classic. She shot 1-under 215 (72-71-72) and placed ahead of one ranked player in the process. The 49ers finished in third place as a team.
