IRVING, Texas – East Carolina and UTSA are headed to the 2025 NCAA Baseball Championship, as the bracket was released on Monday, May 26.
East Carolina (33-25), which defeated Tulane, 8-2, in the final of the 2025 American Baseball Championship presented by Regions on Sunday, May 25, is the No. 3 seed in the Conway Regional and will face No. 2 seed Florida (38-20) on Friday, May 30, at noon Eastern on ESPN2 in Conway, S.C. The other game in the Conway Regional features Fairfield (39-17) and the No. 13 overall seed Coastal Carolina (48-11).
The Pirates will be making their 35
th overall and seventh-consecutive NCAA Regional appearance.
UTSA (44-13), the 2025 American regular season champion, will be the No. 2 seed in the Austin Regional and will face No. 3 seed Kansas State (31-24) on Friday at 2 p.m. Eastern on ESPN+ in Austin, Texas. The other game in the regional features No. 4 seed Houston Christian (32-23) and the No. 2 overall seed Texas (42-12).
The is the Roadrunners’ fourth NCAA Regional appearance and is their highest seed in a Regional.
