IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced the weekly women’s soccer honors for the first week of the 2025 season.
Offensive Player of the Week
Jordan Frederick, Sr., F, Tulsa
Frederick finished with seven points in the opening weekend of the 2025 season. She scored a goal and added an assist in the Golden Hurricane’s season-opening win over Central Arkansas on Thursday, August 14, before adding two goals in a 3-2 win over Stephen F. Austin on Sunday, August 17.
Defensive Player of the Week
Lilly Reuscher, So., D, Rice
Reuscher helped lead the Owl defense to wins over Houston Christian and UTRGV, allowing just one goal. Reuscher and the Rice defense only allowed seven shots on goal over the two wins.
Goalkeeper of the Week
Harlee Head, R-Jr., Charlotte
Head anchored the Charlotte defense, playing all 90 minutes in wins over UNCW and Radford. She recorded five saves over the two matches and held a clean sheet over UNCW in the season opener on Thursday.
Freshman of the Week
Ellis Kelly, F, Memphis
Kelly made a splash in the opening weekend of her collegiate career, scoring two goals and providing an assist in Memphis’ 6-0 season-opening win over Southern Miss on Thursday. She also provided an assist in the Tigers’ 3-2 win over Ole Miss on Sunday.
Honorable Mention
Megan Bradley, Sr., F, Charlotte
Bradley scored two goals in the 49ers’ win over Radford on Sunday after providing an assist in the win over UNCW on Thursday.
Rachel Logue, Gr., D, Charlotte
Logue helped lead the 49er defense to only allowing one goal on eight shots on goal over two wins, and scored against UNCW on Thursday.
Flavie Dube, Sr., F, Memphis
Dube tallied goals in both of Memphis’ wins last week against Southern Miss and Ole Miss, while also providing an assist against Southern Miss.
Mia Bernard, Jr., M, North Texas
Bernard scored a goal and an assist in the Mean Green’s 2-0 shutout over Sam Houston on Sunday.
Laurel Kelly, Fr., F, Rice
Kelly opened her collegiate career with an assist on the game-winning goal against Houston Christian on Thursday and added a goal in Rice’s 6-0 win over UTRGV on Sunday.
