Cincinnati cruised to a 70-38 victory over Detroit Mercy (UDM) Tuesday afternoon at Fifth Third Arena. Marley Hill paced the Bearcats with 10 points and 12 rebounds for her third consecutive double-double. Cincinnati held UDM to just 18 points (23.5%) in the second half while scoring 41 (44.4%) of their own. Additionally, the Bearcats topped Detroit in rebounds (56-31), assists (15-8), points in the paint (32-16), points off turnovers (13-8), second chance points (19-6) and bench points (22-19).
Hill, sophomore Bianca Quisenberry and senior Chelsea Jamison each tallied double-digit points with 10, 12 and 10, respectively. It marks the seventh time this year that three or more UC players recorded at least 10 points in a game.
Cincinnati closes a three-game home stand and opens American Athletic Conference play on Sunday, Dec. 28, when it hosts Tulane for a 2 p.m. game at Fifth Third Arena.
