Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis had a team-high 18 points and Breanna Stewart added 17 points and 10 rebounds in UConn's 92-50 win over USF Sunday afternoon in Storrs, Conn. The Huskies improved to 299-19 at Gampel Pavilion, where they have won 147 of their past 151 games. Courtney Williams scored 23 to lead the Bulls, who had their eight-game win streak snapped with the loss. USF's winning streak ends one-game shy of a school record. The Bulls won nine consecutive games twice, the first time in 1972, the program's first year of existence. The team matched that during its run to the 2009 WNIT championship.
East Carolina 60, Memphis 39
Jada Payne recorded her seventh 20-point performance of the season as East Carolina picked up its third straight win, a 60-39 victory over Memphis, Sunday afternoon at Williams Arena in Minges Coliseum. Payne was the only Pirate in double figure scoring and shot 9-for-16 while grabbing six rebounds on the defensive end. Ariel Hearn led Memphis with 16 points on 7-for-16 shooting while Breigha Wilder-Cochran added 10 in her first double-digit scoring outing since the win at Georgetown on Dec. 13.
