Temple defeated Cincinnati, 83-50, behind a season-high 65-percent shooting effort in the second half Tuesday night at McGonigle Hall. The Owls led by just four points at the break but outscored the Bearcats 53-24 in the second period to move to 5-2 in conference play and 9-11 overall. Cincinnati fell to 5-13 and 2-5 in The American with the loss. Four Temple players scored in double-figures, led by freshman Alliya Butts' 17 points and five assists. Freshman Ana Owens had a team-high 13 points for Cincinnati.

NR/RV Tulane won its fourth consecutive game on Tuesday after topping Tulsa, 73-34, at Devlin Fieldhouse. The Green Wave tied the program’s fourth largest margin of victory (39 points) in conference play with the win. Kolby Morgan led the team with 17 points while Danielle Blagg and Leslie Vorpahl tallied 16 points each for the second consecutive game. Mariah Turner had a team-best 12 points for the Hurricane while Ashley Clark added nine points and seven boards.
