Tulsa Knocks off Louisiana-Monroe, 34-24

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Dane Evans threw for 341 yards and two touchdowns in rallying Tulsa to a 34-24 victory over Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday night.

Louisiana-Monroe (1-4) scored 17 straight points in the third quarter to lead 24-20. But Matt Linscott's interception gave the Golden Hurricane (3-2) the ball at the Louisiana-Monroe 29, and two plays later Evans threw to D'Angelo Brewer for the go-ahead score with 8:41 left. The Warhawks fumbled on the ensuing kickoff and eight plays later Tulsa scored on Zack Langer's second 1-run touchdown.

Another big game of offense for Tulsa Golden Hurricane - 563 yards of offense and the Hurricane eclipses last year's win total. Now 3-2#ReignCane
