- No. 24/24 Cincinnati (5-0) defeated Southeastern Louisiana, 64-49, at Fifth Third Arena in the Barclays Center Classic. Troy Caupain and Jacob Evans each put up 15 points for the Bearcats. Caupain added four assists and two steals, while Evans had six rebounds. Gary Clark tallied 12 points with eight rebounds, two blocks and a steal for Cincinnati. The Bearcats out-rebounded Southeastern, 38-28, and forced 15 turnovers.

- USF (1-4) beat Albany, 63-61, after coming back from an eight-point deficit in the final nine minutes. Bulls' senior Angel Nunez scored a game-high 16 points after going 7-for-10 from the field. Senior center Jaleel Cousins posted his second consecutive double-double, with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Roddy Peters and Chris Perry each recorded eight points, while Peters added five rebounds, five assists and two steals in the win.
