UConn clinched a share of the American Athletic Conference regular season title with a 94-47 win over Tulane Monday night at Devlin Fieldhouse. The Huskies can clinch the American title outright with a win over Memphis on Saturday.
UConn used a 3-pointer by Morgan Tuck right before the half to take a 45-25 lead at the break. Tuck then hit two more treys to make the score 51-25 at the start of the second half, and the Huskies led by at least 24 the rest of the way.
Courtnie Latham paced Tulane with a team-high 12 points and Kolby Morgan pulled down a career-high 11 rebounds. Tuck finished with 16 for UConn while Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis led all scorers with 21 points.
