Highlights

- UCF (8-5, 2-0) topped in-state rival USF (3-13, 0-3), 75-64 at CFE Arena. Adonys Henriquez led the Knights with a season-high 20 points, while grabbing six boards. A.J. Davis added 16 points, including 10-for-10 from the free-throw line, and had five rebounds. Matt Williams finished with 13 points, and Justin McBride chipped in 10 off the bench. UCF shot 80 percent (20-25) from the foul line and made nine 3-pointers, as Henriquez and Williams each made four, and shot over 50 percent from behind the arc. For the first time since the 2011-12 season, the Knights are off to a 2-0 start in conference play.




- The Bulls' senior center Jaleel Cousins notched his sixth double-double of the season, tallying 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting and 13 rebounds. Freshman Jahmal McMurray finished with 10 points, including two 3-pointers, and four assists. Junior Chris Perry scored 10 points on 4-of-9 shooting and added five rebounds while sophomore Bo Zeigler led USF with a career-high five assists to go with four points and two blocks. The Bulls had 13 assists to 11 turnovers, the first time they have had a positive assists-turnover ratio in nine games.
