AMHERST, Mass. -- Tulane overcame an early 14-0 deficit to score 24 straight points en route to a 31-24 road win at UMass.

Dontrell Hilliard, Josh Rounds and Lazedrick Thompson all scored touchdowns for Tulane (3-2), which used 14 third quarter points to take the lead for good.
Trailing 14-10 at the half, the Green Wave moved ahead when Guilette found Terren Encalade for a 36-yard strike, part of a 125-yard receiving day for Encalade.
Thompson's rushing touchdown capped the 24 straight Tulane points before UMass responded to make it a 24-17 game.
