Highlights

• Katie Lou Samuelson scored a career-high 28 points while Kia Nurse added 15 points and eight assists for third-ranked UConn in a 76-53 win over LSU Sunday night in Baton Rouge, La. The Huskies have now won five straight against the Tigers and improved to 8-1 all-time in the series.

• Kolby Morgan led three Green Wave players in double figures with 21 points as NR/RV Tulane defeated Southern Miss, 86-67, Sunday afternoon in New Orleans. Morgan and Courtnie Latham led the way with 21 and 17 points, respectively, while Shakira Harding added a career-high 16 points off the bench.

• Three players finished in double figures for Memphis in a 10-point loss to Kansas, 68-68, on Sunday.  Taylor Williams made four made three-pointers and finished with a career-high 18 points while Cheyenne Creighton and Taylor Barnes scored 16 and 10 points, respectively.

• Alicia Froling and McKenzie Adams scored a season-high 20 and 21 points for SMU, respectively, but it was not enough as the Mustangs dropped a 76-67 decision to TCU on Sunday for its first loss of the season. Froling also grabbed 12 rebounds for her third consecutive double-double and the 22nd of her career.
