Highlights

• East Carolina outscored Ball State 19-6 in overtime to claim an 82-69 victory over the Cardinals on Thursday. With the win, the Pirates finished play at the Savannah Invitational with a 2-1 mark. It was the second overtime matchup of the season for ECU, who defeated Detroit 83-81 at home on Nov. 13. Khadidja Toure scored a game and career-high 25 points on 9-for-14 shooting while Bre McDonald added 22 to finish the tournament with three double-digit scoring efforts.
 
• Behind a 34-point performance by sophomore Kitija Laksa, RV/RV USF defeated North Carolina, 83-55, on the opening day of the Junkanoo Jam in Bimini, Bahamas. Laksa went 11-for-19 from the floor, including 6-for-10 from behind the arc for her second career 30-point outing. Laksa also added a career-best 10 rebounds in her first career double-double outing. Ariadna Pujol added 26 points and seven rebounds.
