Harris led four Houston players in double figure scoring. • Memphis matched their season-high with 15 steals Wednesday in a 54-38 win over Northwestern State. The Tigers improved to 2-1 at home with the victory and were led by Taylor Williams' game-high 16 points. • It was a career night for USF on Wednesday as the Bulls set a new 3-point record in a 91-51 win over visiting FIU at the Sun Dome. Ariadna Pujol, who scored a game-high 23 points on a career-best five 3-pointers, led three USF players with 20 or more points. The Bulls made 16 3-pointers as a team in their first 50-point win since 2013. Laia Flores set a new program mark and a new American single-game record with 17 assists. Of those 17, 12 came in the second half, sparking a 20-0 Bulls’ run. • Alicia Froling earned her sixth double-double of the season with 23 points with 10 rebounds on Wednesday as SMU defeated in-state rival North Texas, 65-51, at Moody Coliseum. Froling added three new career-highs with six assists, five blocks and five steals to lead the Mustangs in each of the five categories. The Mustangs outscored the Mean Green 20-10 in the fourth quarter to seal SMU's fifth victory of the season. • Tulane won its fourth straight on Wednesday night, dropping McNeese State, 82-65, inside Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse. The Green Wave's starting five contributed 71 of the team's final 82 points, shooting a combined 29-of-47 (.617), led by junior Kolby Morgan, who tallied a season high 26 points on 10-of-15 shooting.
