Highlights

Houston began its three-game road trip with a 69-64 victory over Louisiana Wednesday afternoon at the Cajundome. Freshman guard Jasmyne Harris led the Cougars with 23 points and eight rebounds. Houston dominated on the glass, winning the rebounding battle 48-26. The team's 33 defensive rebounds marked a new season-high.

No. 22 USF set a new program and an American single game scoring record with a 129-80 victory over Saint Francis Wednesday at the Sun Dome. The Bulls improved to 8-0 on the year, matching the program's best start. USF's 129 points is the most scored by any team in Division I this season. Seven Bulls scored in double figures led by junior Maria Jespersen's 24 points. She also added a game-high 11 rebounds on the defensive end.
