Highlights

Cincinnati junior Shanice Johnson recorded her sixth double-double of the season with game highs of 19 points and 13 rebounds vs. Georgia, but it was not enough as the Bearcats were edged by the Bulldogs, 51-48, at Fifth Third Arena on Thursday.  The matinee was tightly-contested throughout with four ties and six lead changes.

Rookie Alexis Gaulden scored a career-high 23 points as Tulsa defeated Saint Louis, 70-64, Thursday night at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. Gaulden's 23 points included five 3-pointers on 9-of-11 shooting from the field.  Gaulden was the third Hurricane player to score 20+ points in as many games as Ebony Parker scored 20 points against No. 19 Oklahoma (Dec. 11) and Kendrian Elliott had 20 against Arkansas State (Dec. 9).

• Feyonda Fitzgerald led three Temple players in double figures with a game-high 25 points, and the Owls upset No. 17/16 DePaul, 84-74, Thursday night at McGonigle Hall. The win was the Owls'  first over a ranked non-conference opponent since November 24, 2007 when they defeated No. 22 Purdue 61-47. Alliya Butts chipped in 20 points for Temple, who improved to 6-3 with the win.
