Lewis, who led all scorers with a game-high 21 points, entered the game four treys shy of setting the career record. Lewis made five from beyond the arc in the first half to set the new program record. The Knights posted their fourth road win of the season in the win over the Eagles. • East Carolina captured its first road win of the season Saturday afternoon, defeating Richmond 71-60 at the Robins Center. It was the first meeting between the two teams since 2001. Kristen Gaffney netted 20 points and 10 rebounds for her first double-double of the campaign. She has now scored 20 or more points in four games. Khadidja Toure also reached double figures with 12 points to go along with five rebounds. • Temple moved to 7-3 after posting a 48-37 win over Rutgers Saturday in Piscataway, N.J. It was the first win for the Owls over the Scarlet Knights since 2010-11. Temple's defense stepped up in the third quarter, holding Rutgers to just seven points in the frame after trailing by 13 points in the first half. Feyonda Fitzgerald led all scorers with 19 points to go along with a career-high tying six steals. • Trailing by as much as 13 points midway through the third quarter, Tulane rallied to defeat NC State on Saturday, 63-58, halting the squad's three-game losing streak. Kolby Morgan finished with a game high 27 points, including a career-high six 3-pointers, while Leslie Vorpahl also finished in double figures with 15 points.
