Highlights

• UCF reached the 80-point mark for the first time this season while posting their largest margin of victory in an 81-41 win over Omaha Tuesday at CFE Arena. Now 10-2, the Knights are off to its best start since the 1982-83 season. Aliyah Gregory led four UCF players in double figure scoring with a game-high 18 points.

• East Carolina held Southern to just four points over the final six minutes of Tuesday night’s non-conference contest at Minges Coliseum to record a 62-55 victory and improve its home record to 6-1. ECU shot the ball well in the contest, knocking down 27-of-54 attempts (50-percent). Bre McDonald collected her fourth double-double of the season, finishing with 20 points and 11 rebounds.

• No. 21 USF got back in the win column Tuesday in the Play4Kay Shootout after defeating Santa Clara 63-54 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Kitija Laksa (19 points) was the Bulls’ top scorer for the fifth time this season. The sophomore shot 58-percent (7-of-12) from the floor.
