Highlights

• Cincinnati defeated Eastern Illinois, 78-64, on Wednesday afternoon inside Fifth Third Arena and moved to 8-4 on the year.  With the victory, the Bearcats matched its win total from each of the past two seasons. Cincinnati, who was led by Bianca Quisenberry's season and game-high 20 points, produced five double-figure scorers for the second straight game.

• No. 1 UConn opened the game on a 7-0 run and never looked back as they defeated Nebraska, 84-41, Wednesday evening at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Katie Lou Samuelson led four Huskies in double figures with a game-high 23 points. UConn was never challenged by Nebraska, which hit just one of its first 10 shots. The Huskies' largest lead was 48 at 78-30 early in the fourth period.



• Double-digit scoring efforts by Brea Elmore (17), Taylor Barnes (21), and Cheyenne Creighton (12) helped lead Memphis to a 73-62 victory over Nicholls State Wednesday afternoon. The Tigers are 5-2 at home this season and go into the Holiday break on a three-game winning streak. Barnes' 21 points marked a new career-high while Creighton added 10 boards for her fourth straight double-double.

• No. 21 USF wrapped up action at the Play4Kay Shootout with a 77-42 win over UNLV Wednesday at T-Mobile Arena. Kitija Laksa led all scorers and five Bulls in double figures with 30 points.  Laksa has scored 30-plus points on three different occasions. She has led the team in scoring six times in her sophomore campaign.

• SMU scored a season-high in points with a 77-43 victory over Seattle Wednesday at Moody Coliseum. With the win, the Mustangs improved to 9-4 overall and 6-0 at home to go undefeated in non-conference games at Moody Coliseum for the first time since the 2004-05 season. Dai'ja Thomas scored a team-high 13 points and was one of five Mustangs to reach double-figures.

• Sophomore Harlyn Wyatt posted her first career double-double as Tulane picked up a 63-51 victory over visiting Eastern Washington in the Tulane Classic on Wednesday. The Wave will face Auburn in the title game on Thursday ay 6 p.m.  ET. Wyatt finished with career highs in points (14), field goals made (6-of-9) and assists, while tying her season high of 10 rebounds.
