Winners of five straight, Cincinnati moved to 14-5 on the season and 5-1 in American Athletic Conference play with a 64-54 win over East Carolina at Fifth Third Arena on Saturday. The Bearcats are unblemished in 2017 and their 14 victories are the most since the 2011-12 season. Highlighted among the Bearcats’ four double-digit scorers is junior guard Ana Owens, who, needing seven points to total 1,000 for her career entering the game, scored 11 to become the 26th member of the program’s 1,000-point club. Bre McDonald scored a career-high 27 points for the Pirates in the loss.

• Alicia Froling scored her 1,000th career point as part of a 20-point, 13-rebound effort to lead SMU to a 66-45 victory over Houston Saturday afternoon at Hofheinz Pavilion. The Mustangs snapped a four game skid and improved to 11-8 overall and 2-4 in The American with the victory. Jasmyne Harris paced the Cougars with 16 points off the bench in the loss.

A 16-0 run early in the third quarter led Temple to their 11th-straight victory on Saturday, a 66-51 win at home over Memphis. Junior Donnaizha Fountain led all players with 19 points, notching her third consecutive game as the Owls' leading scorer. Senior Feyonda Fitzgerald, who only attempted four field goals in the game, finished with five points and a game-best nine assists. Breigha Wilder-Cochran had 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Tigers, marking her first career double-double at Memphis.

•
Rookie Shug Dickson led three Tulsa players in double figures with a career-high 22 points to give the Hurricane a 73-62 win over UCF Saturday at CFE Arena in Orlando. Dickson's 22 points marked her third-straight 20+ point game for Tulsa and helped the Hurricane earn their first-ever win over UCF in Orlando.  Junior Aliyah Gregory turned in a season-high 25 points for the Knights.
