Ana Owens and Bianca Quisenberry each scored 22 points, while Shanice Johnson finished with 21. Kierra Graves paced Houston with 20 points. • Antoinette Bannister scored the game-winning 3-pointer and Bre McDonald logged her fifth double-double of the season as East Carolina downed SMU 58-57 for its first American Athletic Conference victory of the campaign Saturday afternoon inside Minges Coliseum. Bannister's trey came with 15 seconds left in regulation. She was second on the team in scoring with 12 points. McDonald notched 16 points and 10 rebounds while adding a game-high six assists. SMU was led by Alicia Froling, who recorded her 10th double-double of the season (22 points, 15 rebounds) in the loss. • Brea Elmore scored a career-high 25 points to help push Memphis to its first conference win of the season, a 65-62 victory at UCF, on Saturday. After the Knights went on a 17-2 run to close out the third quarter, the Tigers answered with a 6-0 run at the start of the fourth to regain the lead. Zykira Lewis led three UCF players in double figure scoring with 18 points. • USF extended its home win streak to 12 consecutive games and improved to 6-0 at the Sun Dome this season with an 84-68 win over Tulsa on Saturday night. Bulls sophomore Kitija Laksa led all scorers with 37 points on 13-of-25 shooting, including a 7-of-14 outing from beyond the arc. Rookie Kendrian Elliott led the Hurricane in scoring with 14 points.
