Highlights
 
- Temple increased its winning streak to six in a row with a 3-0 win over Houston at home. Dana Westfield led the Owls with a .333 hitting percentage and 14 kills, as two other players joined her in the double digits. The Owls are now tied in second place with SMU in league standings with a 9-2 record.
 
- USF started off its weekend action with a 3-1 win over Memphis, as Clara Payne had eight blocks, 11 kills and hit a .318. Freshman Doris Carter added 13 kills to with win, as setter Alex Mendoza paced the offense with 42 assists  and accounted for five stuffs.  
 
- Tulane snapped an eight-match setback to capture its second conference win this year, coming out on top in a five-set thriller over UConn on the road. Erika Hansel ended the match with a .560 hitting percentage and a team-best 14 kills in the win. The fifth set was the difference, as Tulane hit a .450, while holding the Huskies to hitting .000. The Green Wave will head to Temple on Sunday.
 
- UCF took Wichita State21 to five sets, but the Shockers pulled ahead, 15-10, in the fifth set to remain undefeated in conference play and win their 11th straight match. Tabitha Brown led the Shockers with 23 kills and 11 digs and hit .349, while Abbie Lehman had a career-high 22 kills along with eight blocks and hit .415. Kia Bright earned her conference-leading 15th double-double with 17 kills and 11 digs.
