Highlights
 
- Wichita State20 defeated ECU in three sets to notch its 15th win in a row to stay unbeaten in The American, while knocking both the Pirates and Cincinnati out of contention for the league title. With five matches left to play in the regular season, the race to the top is still between three teams, including Wichita State, SMU and Temple.
 
The Shockers (24-3, 15-0 American Athletic Conference) put four players in double-digit kills and hit .400, while holding ECU to a .108 team hitting percentage. Abbie Lehman led the charge with 12 kills on 21 swings with just one error for a .524 hitting percentage. Emily Hiebert paced the offense with 40 assists and hit .667 with seven kills.
 
- Carly Nolan and Erica Kostelac guided the Bearcats’ offense with 15 and 13 kills, respectively, as Cincinnati defeated Memphis 3-0. The Bearcats improve to 9-6 in The American and enjoyed a .290 team hitting percentage with Kostelac hitting .480. Cincinnati is tied for fourth in the league’s standings with ECU.
 
- Houston swept USF on the road with Brianna Gardner notching three service aces, six kills and hitting .333. The Cougars’ offense flourished with a .325 hitting percentage, as Megan Duncan, Sarah Afflerbaugh and Gabi Zelaya joined Gardner in hitting over .300. The Cougars are a game behind UCF in eighth place in The American.
 
- UCF earned the fourth sweep of the night in American action after hitting .297 on the way to a 3-0 win over Tulane. The Knights led 12-3.5 in blocks with Taylor Wickey accounting for eight stuffs. UCF’s Alli Sabol knocked down 12 kills with no errors for a .522 hitting percentage, as Kia Bright recorded her conference-leading 18th double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs. The Knights are seventh in American standings.
