UCF (5-4) defeated Georgia Southern (3-5) 62-38 Sunday afternoon on the road. The Knights jumped out to an 11-0 lead and never trailed in the game. Aliyah Gregory and Zakiya Saunders each scored 16 points to lead UCF. Saunders added a game-high seven assists and led the Knights with three steals. Masseny Kaba pulled down a game-best 11 rebounds.
Houston 88, East Tennessee State 69
Houston (8-2) extended its win streak to six games with an 88-69 victory over East Tennessee State Sunday. The Cougars had a trio of players reach double-figures, including Jasmyne Harris who paced Houston on offense and the glass with 28 points and 10 rebounds for her third double-double of the season. Angela Harris and Serithia Hawkins each tallied 12 points.
