Memphis (4-8) out scored Jackson State (4-4) 22-12 in the third quarter to earn its third straight win 64-53 Monday night. Brea Elmore led the Tigers and recorded her ninth double-digit scoring game with 20 points. Cheyenne Creighton finished with 19 points and 13 rebounds for her fourth-straight double-double and seventh this season.

Geno Auriemma is now a member of one of college basketball's most elite groups - the 1,000-win club. Auriemma became the fourth women's coach to reach the milestone with an 88-64 win over Oklahoma (5-6) on Tuesday. Four players scored in double-figures. Naphessa Collier led UConn (9-0) with 21 points, Azura' Stevens talled 20, Katie Lou Samuelson scored 19 and Kia Nurse added 17 in the win.
