• ECU hit the century mark for the first time since last year's opener against Greensboro with a 103-37 win over Savannah State Wednesday night. Ariyana Williams had a career-high 34 points while Alex Frazier dished out a career-high 12 assists and fell two points shy of her first career double-double. The win tied the Pirates' largest margin of victory, by 66, in program history.
• Trailing by 10 at the break, the Mustangs needed a spark to protect their home court against LMU on Wednesday afternoon. McKenzie Adams and Kiara Perry provided it, as SMU overcame that deficit to knock off Loyola Marymount, 63-60. The senior duo combined in the second half for 25 of the team's 40 points. Adams scored 13 of those, hitting six of her eight shots to finish with a game-high 21 points. Perry logged 20 points in contest, while tying her career-high by grabbing 14 rebounds to register her second consecutive double-double.
• Kitija Laksa finished with 29 points while Laura Ferreira netted a season high 22-points in USF's 93-87 (OT) over Dayton in the New Orleans Shootout. Ferreira notched her third double-double this season thanks to a game-high 10 rebounds. USF trailed by 12 points with eight minutes remaining in the game, Laksa scored the go-ahead jumper and sparked an 11-4 run that sent the game into overtime. The Bulls sealed their 10
th victory of the season thanks to a nine-point effort by Laksa in the overtime period.
