Wichita State (3-8) had four players in double-figures in a 72-63-win over UMKC (1-8) Saturday afternoon. Rangie Bessard finished with a team-high 19 points and 1 rebounds for her second double-double of the season. Diamond Lockdart scored 16 points to go with seven boards and three assists. Sabrina Lozada-Cabbage and Jeliah Preston both chipped in 10 points apiece.
Memphis 64, UAB 62
Taylor Barnes and Cheyenne Creighton scored 17 points apiece to push Memphis (2-8) to a 64-62 victory over UAB (7-2) Saturday. Creighton tallied a double-double, her fifth this year, adding a career-high 14 rebounds. The Tigers outrebounded the Blazers 41-33.
