Taylor Williams scored 13 of her team-high 15 points in the second half which included a pivoltal 3-pointer to put the Tigers up five with 25 seconds remaining. A 16-1 run by Memphis through the end of the third quarter combined with a 71-percent shooting stanza into the beginning of the fourth turned a nine-point deficit into a six-point lead, putting the Tigers up for good over Tulane. This was the first victory in New Orleans for Memphis since January 18, 2008. The Tigers improved to 25-19 against the Green Wave with Thursday's victory. Kolby Morgan led Tulane with her second double-double on the season, finishing with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Leslie Vorpahl became the third player in Green Wave tonight to surpass 500 career assists.
