Highlights

• A season-best performance from Zykira Lewis (29 pts.) and Aliyah Gregory (28 pts.) led UCF to an 85-59 win over Houston Wednesday night at CFE Arena. With 14 wins, the Knights have now doubled their win total from the 2015-16 season and, with four wins in conference action, have matched their league victories from a season ago. The Cougars were led offensively by freshman Angela Harris’ 22 points.

• Kitija Laksa scored 18 of her 34 points in the second half to lead a late surge by the No. 22 Bulls in a 76-66 comeback victory over East Carolina at Minges Coliseum. USF took the lead late in the third quarter and never looked back, scoring 39 points in the second half to complete the season sweep of the Pirates. Kristen Gaffney posted her third double-double of the season with 25 points and 12 rebounds in the loss for ECU.

• Temple made it 15-0 on "School Day" games, topping visiting Tulsa, 70-43, on Wednesday afternoon at the Liacouras Center. The Owls held the Hurricane to just 22-percent shooting from the field, while forcing 16 turnovers. Junior Donnaizha Fountain led the Owls in scoring for the second-straight game, tallying 17 points, nine rebounds and three steals. Erika Wakefield had a team-leading 11 points for Tulsa.
