Three Houston (13-3, 2-0) players scored in double figures en route to a 73-55 victory over Wichita State (5-11, 0-2) Tuesday night. Jasmyne Harris led all scorers in the contest with 26 points. Dorian Branch and Octavia Barnes added 16 and 10 respectively.
Wichita State had a 44-29 advantage on the glass; 31-of-44 were defensive rebounds to limit second chance points by the Cougars. Rangie Bessard led Wichita State with her fifth double-double of the season, finishing with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
