A pair of career performances lifted UCF (13-7, 5-2 The American) to a 58-43 win over SMU (7-12, 1-5 The American) at home. The Knights collected their first regular season sweep of the Mustangs and are perfect (4-0) at CFE Arena in conference play. Zakiya Saunders scored a career-high and led all scorers with 23 points, while Nyala Shuler collected a career-best and game-high 17 rebounds in the contest.
 
McKenzie Adams led the Mustangs in scoring with 15 points on the night. Johnasia Cash grabbed 10 rebounds to pace SMU on the glass.
 
ECU 80, Houston 78
ECU (10-9, 2-3 The American) gritted out an 80-78 overtime win over Houston (15-6, 4-3 The American) Sunday night. Necole Hope had a team-best 18 points, while Salita Greene was just shy a double-double with 15 points and a team-best nine rebounds. Destiny Campbell’s 10 points in the game rounded out the Pirates’ double figure scorers.
 
Houston had four players in double figures including, Serithia Hawkins (22), Jasmyne Harris (21), Dorian Branch (14) and Angela Harris (11). The Cougars distributed the ball well and finished with a 23-14 advantage in the assist column and totaled a game-high seven blocks.
