UConn (18-0, 7-0 The American) recorded their highest point total of the season in a 113-57 victory over Temple (9-9, 1-5 The American) Sunday afternoon. Kia Nurse scored 24 points for the Huskies and freshman Megan Walker added a career-best 22 points in the contest. The Huskies remain unbeaten in conference play and improve to 77 regular season wins.
 
Rookie Mia Davis led the Temple in scoring with 19 points, while Tanya Atkinson added 15 for the Owls.
 
Cincinnati 64, Memphis 53
Cincinnati (12-7, 4-2 The American) won its third-consecutive win Sunday in a 64-53 win versus Memphis (7-12, 2-4 The American). The Bearcats were paced by Ana Owens’ 18 points to go along with sex rebounds, four assists and two steals. Angel Rizor contributed 13 points and six rebounds, while Iimar’I Thomas had nine points and pulled down a team and season-high 13 rebounds.
 
Brea Elmore posted half of the Tigers’ point total with a game-high 26 points.
 
Tulane 70, Tulsa 39
Tulane (10-9, 2-4 The American) defeated Tulsa (8-12, 2-5 The American) 70-39 to complete a league sweep over the Golden Hurricane. Kolby Morgan led the Green Wave in scoring with 17 points, while Tatyana Lofton had a career-high 13 points in the contest. Tulane held a 46-34 advantage on the glass and a 36-18 advantage in the paint.
 
Rebecca Lescay led Tulsa with nine points, while Tyjae’ Scales grabbed nine rebounds to tie for a game-best.


 
Wichita State 64, USF 56
After starting conference play 0-3, Wichita State (9-12, 4-3 The Ameridan) has won its fourth straight game with a 64-56 victory against USF (15-5, 5-2 The American) Sunday. Rangie Bessard and Diamond Lockhard each scored 16 points, while Angiee Tompkins finished with 13 points in the contest.
 
Kitija Laksa scored 16 points, while Maria Jespersen finished with a double-double (12 points, 11 rebounds).
