USF 76, Temple 60
USF (16-5, 6-2 The American) used a dominant third quarter to secure a 76-60 win over Temple (9-11, 1-6 The American) Sunday afternoon. Four Bulls finished with double-digit numbers in the contest. Maria Jespersen led all scorers with 24 points. Kitija Laksa had 13 points on the night, all of which came in the second half of the game. Laia Flores and Tamara Henshaw rounded out the Bulls' double-figure scorers with 11 and 10, respectively. USF held an advantage in offensive (19-6) and defensive rebounds (35-23).
A trio of Temple players finished with double figures. Tanaya Atkinson had a team-best 22 points, while Mykia Jones and Mia Davis totaled 11 and 10 points, respectively.
